Custom Wooden Keychains: A Practical Alternative to Plastic Key Tags

Keychains are handled more often than almost any other branded object. Wooden keychains take that daily contact and replace the usual plastic tag with a warmer, lighter and more sustainable material.

Our wooden keychain blanks are available in circles, rectangles, tags, house shapes, numbers and fully custom outlines. Each piece is sanded smooth, drilled for a split ring or ball chain, and finished with laser engraving or UV printing. Standard thickness is 3 mm to 5 mm, with larger formats available for long room numbers or dual-side information. Attachment hardware includes split rings, ball chains, snap hooks and colored cords. Finishing options cover natural clear coat, dark walnut stain, whitewash and full-color UV print. Numbering can run in sequence, and variable data such as room numbers, vehicle plates or member IDs can be engraved in one production run.

A note on durability

For daily-use keys, specify a sealed finish and a reinforced hole, especially where the ring will rub against the wood. Engraved text should sit at least 3 mm from the hole edge. For outdoor fleets, we recommend an exterior clear coat and stainless rings to prevent rust marks on the wood.

Ordering

Send us your logo, number range and preferred size. We will provide a layout showing engraving position, hole placement and ring type, plus a sample photo for approval before mass production. Mixed designs can be packed separately, which suits hotels ordering tags for several room types in a single shipment.
