1.2mm Aircraft Cable Panel Hanging Kit 3 Meter Adjustable Brass Gripper for Art Gallery Display Board

In a gallery the hardware is part of the exhibit. This set keeps the visual line to a single 1.2mm cable, terminated by a small brass gripper that sits above the panel edge instead of in front of it. Three metres of cable covers ceilings up to 4.5 m, and the surplus is trimmed on site so no coil hangs in view.

Where It Fits

Suspended display boards, acoustic picture panels, textile wall panels, signage in museum foyers, and temporary exhibition walls that have to come down without patching the ceiling. The bayonet hook takes panels from 3mm to 8mm, and a frame clip variant is available for aluminium exhibition systems.

Weight And Length Guide

Bottom restraints are advised in public galleries to stop panels swinging when doors open or air handling runs.

Finish Notes

Standard is nickel plated brass. For dark ceilings we supply black oxide bodies; for heritage interiors, unlacquered brass that patinas over time. Cable is available with a clear nylon jacket when the ceiling is pale and reflections matter.

Curator Questions

Can the cable be shortened after installation? Yes, trim with side cutters and re-seat in the gripper.
Will it leave a mark on the panel? The bayonet hook seats behind the frame, so nothing shows on the face.
Do you supply mixed lengths in one order? Yes, label each set with its length and bay reference.
