SS-012-800 Round Barrel Cable Security Seal

The SS-012-800 uses a smooth cylindrical lock barrel instead of a faceted body, which gives a tighter grip on thin cable and a lower profile once installed. The 800 mm galvanised wire rope is long enough to pass through meter box hasps, valve handles and cage trolley doors, while the round barrel slides into narrow apertures where a hexagonal body would not fit.

Typical application

Electricity and water meter boxes, valve handles on utility risers, warehouse cage trolleys, vending cabinets and bus emergency doors. Utility crews favour the barrel body because it can be sealed one handed in poor light and the small head does not snag on clothing or equipment.

Customisation service

We keep thousands of barrels in stock in five colours, so mixed colour orders can be packed in the same carton. Marking plates can carry your serial range, barcode and a short service instruction. Special rope lengths from 300 mm to 2500 mm are assembled to order without new tooling.

Packaging and delivery

100 pieces per poly bag, 1,000 pieces per carton. Carton size 40 x 30 x 26 cm, gross weight about 16 kg. Standard colours leave the factory in 7 to 10 working days.
