SS-014-600 Stainless Steel Wire Rope Cable Security Seal

The SS-014-600 is built for wet, salty and coastal environments. The wire rope is AISI 304 stainless steel rather than galvanised carbon steel, and the aluminium body is sealed with a marine grade anodised coating, so the seal can be left on equipment for months without corrosion locking the rope in place. The 600 mm length suits offshore containers, port equipment and vessel stores.

Corrosion and durability

• AISI 304 stainless steel wire rope with 7x7 strand construction
• Marine grade anodised aluminium body, salt spray tested beyond 480 hours
• No free water traps in the locking chamber, so the rope never seizes
• Rope remains flexible at low temperature, suitable for cold store and deck use

Typical application

Offshore containers and baskets, port straddle carriers, ship stores and bonded lockers, fish farm cages, aviation cargo pallets and any outdoor asset exposed to salt fog. Maintenance teams use it where a galvanised seal would rust into a solid block within a season.

Customisation service

Stainless rope diameter 1.5 mm or 1.8 mm, rope length from 300 mm to 3000 mm, and body colour are all selectable. For fleet customers we can supply numbered ranges against a monthly schedule so that each vessel or depot receives a dedicated block of serial numbers.

Packaging and delivery

100 pieces per poly bag, 1,000 pieces per carton. Carton size 40 x 30 x 26 cm, gross weight about 17 kg. Lead time 10 to 18 working days depending on rope length.
